Past Adventures
Organizing a blog can be tough. To make things easier, here’s an overview of my last few years. I’ll admit, my record-keeping is abysmal.
2016 – The Year of Logistics
- Christmas in Jamaica
- 2016 Baja 1000 Trajedy
- Onset of the Trumpocalypse
- Local sailing (including a few sails to Catalina Island)
- Prep for circumnavigation
2015 – The Year of Aquarius
- Backpacking Europe, Morocco & Quebec. Sorry no posts on this.
- Roadtrip: Boston to Orange County, California in an Astro van. Only posts to date:
- Sold my first and purchased my second (current) Albin Vega
2014 – The Forgotten Year
- Back to Costa Rica, donated my motorcycle to the Sloth Sanctuary
- Began sailing, purchased my first Albin Vega
(Sorry, but I have no evidence of this year happening.)
2013 – The Year of Driving
- Mongol Rally – 17,000 miles driving from London to Mongolia and back. And only three posts about it?!?
2012 – The Year of the Vagrant
- Motorcycle trip from OC to Vancouver and back. Well, it started as a motorcycle trip and ended as an RV trip. Too much rain, don’t cha kno. I have a collection of posts about it, consolidated with the same trip I took in 2011.
- 2012 Baja 1000
- Backpacking Central America. I spent about 8 months between Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Cost Rica

2011 – 1989 The Years of Formidability
It seems like everything from 1989 until 2011 was all working towards a single goal. That goal was realized in December 2011 when I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Psychology.
Other than that? Good question.
