We arrived in San Pedro a day after planned since my brother and I happened upon free room accommodations in Caye Caulker for Wednesday night. Here in San Pedro we are staying in Pedro’s Backpacker’s Inn and it has proven to be very good value. $12.50/night/person is significantly more than the $5 and $0 price tags we had in Cancun and Caye Caulker, but San Pedro in general is more expensive. For a two bed room with wifi and outlets, we’re satisfied.
Tomorrow Josh heads home and I continue alone. I will probably water taxi to Belize City early then catch a chicken bus to San Ignacio. Once there I will either stay in a Hostel or take advantage of their camping.
